The Place.
The “Ca’ del Naso”—the House of The Nose, build upon old Etruscan lands the House sits at the beginning of the Strada di Tesoro—Treasure Street, a name that comes from ancient tales wherein bandits used to roam these hills and keep their treasure somewhere along its route down the valley.
All that remains of old is a legend, and half of a watchtower that stands as the base of the Ca’ del Naso. Some say the treasure is still dug deep inside the valley, but the only thing we have been able to find, is that the real treasure of this place is the land itself.
The People.
In 2019, Alessandro Gualtieri, “The Nose,” and his son Atom founded Ca’ del Naso near the charming Tuscan town of Radicondoli. Renowned as an olfactory artist but with no background in winemaking, Alessandro was driven by a passion for crafting quality products and a love for disruption. His vision was to create a wine that embodied his spirit—untamed and unapologetic.
With Atom as the dedicated caretaker of the vineyards, Ca’ del Naso became a house of creation, where the unpredictable beauty of working with nature meets meticulous craftsmanship. As with his fragrances, where the nose leads and the senses follow, the wines are shaped by fine manual labor and limitless creativity, powered by the love of family and friends. The result? See for yourself.
